January Meeting

Postby Jim Jurkowski » Wed Dec 30, 2020 4:34 pm

RCMB Members,
Our first meeting of the year is scheduled for January 9th at 11 am.  This will be an on-line virtual event (barring a major heatwave) and I will send out details in a later message.  We'll be covering the new calendar, the proposed budget, and the new FAA rule that was released this week.  (The FAA was kind to us and the good news is there is absolutely no impact to us while flying at the field, but we'll discuss in detail at the meeting and take questions.)

Also I plan to take some donated items to the clubhouse tomorrow (New Year's Eve) for anyone interested.  There are a few items you may have an interest in:
Radian powered gliderE-flite BL450 powered gliderBlade 400 helicopter and box of accessories/partsDynam helicopter, similar in size to the Blade 400Several smaller quad copters w/transmittersSeveral versions of flight simulator softwareAn Interlink controller for simulator softwareTwo Venom battery chargersSpektrum DX6i transmitterSome miscellaneous hardware
Help yourself--there are a lot of planes/parts that seem to have accumulated in the clubhouse.  I am adding to that list here but in a few weeks and before our first on-site meeting, I will clear that stuff out so we don't get overrun.  Stop by if you are interested.

Happy New Year and we'll talk soon.
Jim
