Pilots must help prevent fuel overflow in the pits

Postby mBagley » Thu Jun 07, 2012 10:39 am

We have a problem with members allowing spillage of fuel, especially GAS, onto the ground causing obvious damage to the turf we have been trying very hard to improve. We are spending more money than in the past to make the field more attractive and functional only to have at least 8 incidents of careless spillage work against the field maintenance team.

All members MUST NOT fuel anywhere other than IN THE PITTS and MUST use a pan or other device to prevent overflow from hitting the ground.

Thank you for your attention and immediately addressing this matter.
