Runway transistion maintaince

CAUTION! We are working on the hard runway edge to remove over grown sod and soften the transition. This is a work in progress and should be finished next Thursday. Until then you may have trouble taxing off the hard runway so be careful not to tip your craft and chew up a prop.

If anyone has the extra energy and would like to help before Thursday’s session, there is a flat scraping tool with a long handle in the maintenance building with the shovels. Use that tool to scrap loose the sod left on the runway surface and throw the lose material over the hill behind the buildings. Once that is done we can then soften the transition with the edgers we have.
