Well I am a bit tardy in posting the update for completing the Telemaster. So I have a couple of shots of the plane covered and ready for flight. In fact, at the time of these pictures, the plane has 30+ flights on it.
Some of the particulars are :
motor is OS FSV 95 Four Stroke with 14 oz. tank
covered in Monkote
uses 7 hitech servos with transmitter mixing of Ailerons and flaps.
The plane is a bit heavy due to the solid type construction of the fuse and most of the wing. Fortunaly it still has lots of lift with that big wing. The new OS 95 is a very nice motor. Clearly more than enough power for this application, but hey, it is still fun to go vertical with a Telemaster. Great Idle and power pickup after idling. Also a dream during break-in. I have the transmitter flight timer set for 12 mins and still have 2 mins to spare.
Love to make multiple slow approaches with the flaps . I have not done any mixing programing on the flaps and the throttle or elevator, just have them on a 2 position switch for off-low-full settings. Full Flaps will make some nice slow approaches.
Plane will fly fairly fast at full throttle and is capable of inverted flight with all that power. Overall it is a nice relaxing plane to fly.
