New members are always encouraged to come to regular club meetings. It
is an excellent opportunity to meet club members, ask questions, solve problems, and learn about the hobby. Club meetings are held
at Carroll Manor Recreation Center on the second Tuesday of each month
at 7pm. Carroll Manor Recreation Center is located at 3101 Paper
Mill Road in Phoenix Maryland, 21131. During
the summer months, when the school is closed, we meet at the flying
field.
Our flying site is located at the old Parkton Landfill. It is
convenient and easy to get to.
* Take Interstate 83 North to Exit #33 in Parkton.
* At the end of the off ramp, proceed straight across York road onto
Stablers Church Rd.
* Continue on Stablers Church for about 1/4 mile.
* At the stop sign, proceed straight into the landfill property. An
access road takes you to the field.
Flight operations are conducted daily between the hours of 10a.m. and 8
p.m. Mufflers are required.
